If we break down the word, “Digital Marketing” we can see that it has to do with the word Marketing. So, if we want to know about digital marketing, we must first know that, what is marketing?


Marketing: The main function of marketing is to run a publicity campaign. That is, to inform people about one's product or something that people are not aware of, to run campaigns. This is a unique urgency of the organization. Because most of the money of an organization goes for its marketing. This marketing later split into 2 parts, after the discovery of the internet. E.g.


1. Traditional Marketing
2. Digital marketing


Traditional Marketing: This is traditional marketing. In other words, the client was informed about his product through leaflets or verbally at an early stage. Later, when television appeared, people were informed about their products through advertisements on various channels. This is called traditional marketing.


Digital Marketing: After the discovery of the Internet, the disadvantages and disadvantages of traditional marketing were revealed. Because of the proliferation of the Internet, people have turned away from magazines, television and become dependent on Facebook, YouTube, Google, etc. As a result, the digital method has become a unique platform for marketing. This is now known as digital marketing.
